It all started with a push present my husband, Greg, gave me after our daughter's birth - a camera. I didn't expect to ever be so obsessed with capturing pictures of our little cutie (ask any of my coworkers and they'd tell you I went a little overboard with the pictures hanging at my desk! But who can blame an excited and proud parent?!). Aside from some high school classes, I didn't know much about photography. But when our second child was born during COVID in 2020, the lockdown denied us the opportunity to have a professional photographer capture our baby's tininess. I wasn't going to let this stop us from having memories for a lifetime. So I picked up the camera, took a few classes to help me freshen up on the principles of photography, and learned some of the finer details about lighting and editing. I loved the element of creativity that came with photographing my little ones and finding ways to get them to smile naturally in front of the camera.

On the videography side of things, Greg has been interested in video for some time - but it really took off once he entered the drone game. It offers such a unique perspective. Don't worry - we don't use it during newborn sessions! :) After returning from a session, Greg handles all the editing of the videos, pairing them with emotion-evoking tracks and artfully arranging clips to tell a story over the course of the highlight film.
